Morning Routine vs. Habits

This time let’s talk about some interesting topic, I’ve now worked on since December last year. Your daily morning routine is important to start right into your perfect day.

Do you have some routines in the morning?

Maybe there is something you can do better or would like to improve, then this would be some helpful tips to investigate.

As I said, I’ve started to have a morning routine since December and it’s great. I was one of those people who always thought, “I don’t need this, I have everything in control.” Really funny, as I am a perfectionist and control freak about my daily basis. Since a while, I was writing down some of my goals I wanted to achieve in short term or long term.

If I was believing in it? Well, I thought I would, and I really kept going every day. Until that day, I knew something must improve and I need to change certain things in my daily routine to achieve them.

When did you change something for the last time?

Maybe you are right now in the middle of a change. What did it make with you? How did you feel about your change? Change is never easy. But if you want to change something, you need to start somewhere. Some people say it takes 21 days to make a habit, but a second to break it. Is it true? What does it even mean?

Let’s investigate it:

Changing a Habit is the process by which a behavior, through regular repetition, becomes automatic. Same with the bad habits not only good habits. But I am sure you are ready to change something. I ask you now, “what do you want to change in the next few months?”.

Sit down, think about it and write it down. The things you write down become clearer for your mind.

Try to do the following for the next 66 days:

1. What was the best today?

2. What did I learn today?

3. What am I grateful for?

If you implement this in your morning routine, right after you woke up and do this each morning before you start into the day, then you will see something changes. Be patient with yourself. I promise you, there will be change.

Are you setting yourself goals each day?

Since I am started my journal each morning and what I expect from myself and the day, it completely changed my whole daily routine and I get real stuff done. I encourage you to try it for a little time and if it shouldn’t work, then ok. But, if you really want to change something, then you will start changing your mind and your daily routine.

How did the journal help me to achieve my goals?

As you have important questions every day in this journal it will keep making you think, what you can do better or how you can get better in certain things.

Did you ever think about the following questions?

Who needs me on my A-game today? Love this question.

This is one of my favorites in my journal as it keeps me doing my best for myself and the people around me. For this topic, there is more we can go inside, which I will cover on another blog post for you.

Regarding, the journal I am using I will put in the link for you then you can have a look on Amazon.
